Request #20-144
  Closed

To whom it may concern,

I am writing to request any/ all materials relating to the cases of Tonya Jackson and Laurie Barros.

Laurie Barros and Tonya Jackson who were both assaulted by Sam Little, also known as Sam McDowell (dob 7th June 1940), in September 1984 and then October 1984. The cases were tried together, with added charges of false imprisonment. Little pleaded guilty to two counts of assault with great bodily injury and one of false imprisonment.

We have recently interviewed Detective Wayne Spees from the San Diego Police Dept. as part of the documentary series who mentioned he has records from the case he would like to make available to us through the official channels. We'd like the records to go through redaction so that we are able to access them.

Please can the process of the files being collected from Det. Spees and sent to the reaction team be started so we are able to receive these through this FOIA request?

Thank you in advance
