Pursuant to my rights under the California Public Records Act (Government Code Section 6250 et seq.), I am requesting to obtain copies of any and all written or electronically transmitted correspondence, between October 5, 2015 to May 24, 2018, including information that is maintained on paper as well as electronically, such as data files and unprinted emails that were sent or received by current and former, City of San Diego District 1 elected officials and their staff members.

As well, I am requesting copies of any and all written or electronically transmitted correspondence between October 5,, 2015 to May 24, 2018, including information that is maintained on paper as wells as electronically, such as data files and unprinted emails that were sent or received by City of San Diego staff members their supervisors and Department heads, including but not limited to, Sherri Carr, Robert Vacchi, Tim Daly, Joseph Stanco, Jose Salcedo, Arlyn Tan, Sheila McKinze, Sabouri Alireza, Matthew King, Afsaneh Ahmadi, Gary Glyer, Gregory P. Hopkins, Michelle Sokolowski, Kerry Santoro regarding the Whitney Mixed Use project, also referred to as Project number 522265 and approval number 1832372.

This request should include, but not be limited to all written or electronically transmitted correspondence between October 5, 2015 to May 24, 2018, including information that is maintained on paper as well as electronically, such as data files and unprinted emails  that were sent or received any of by the above mentioned parties and the following individuals; (i) Attorney Julie Hamilton, (ii) Attorney Leslie Gaunt, (iii) Myrna Naegle, (iv) Peggy Davis, (v) Janie Emerson, (vi) Bernie Segal, (vii) Phil Merten, (viii) Joe LaCava, (ix) Attoorney Charlie Bird, (x) Rob Whittemore, (xi) Helen Boyden and (xii) Bob Steck.

Additionally, please provide any dates, time and the notes and minutes of any parties attending meeting between the above-mentioned parties to discuss the Whitney Mixed Use project, Project 522265 and Approval number 1832372.

The documents that may be omitted from this request are San Diego Superior Court and the 4th District Court of Appeal briefs filed with the courts related to the City of San Diego vs La Jolla Shores Tomorrow and Bernie Segal.

I ask for a determination on this request within 10 days of your receipt of it, and an even prompter reply if you can make that determination without having to review the records in question.

If you determine that any or all or the information qualifies for an exemption from disclosure, I ask you to note whether, as is normally the case under the Act, the exemption is discretionary, and if so whether it is necessary in this case to exercise your discretion to withhold the information.

If you determine that some but not all of the information is exempt from disclosure and that you intend to withhold it, I ask that you redact it for the time being and make the rest available as requested. In any event, please provide a signed notification citing the legal authorities on which you rely if you determine that any or all of the information is exempt and will not be disclosed.
